Earthwing Drifter 36 (Rider Review)

Have you ever ridden a board that left you laughing at the end of a run?
The 36 inch earthwing drifter is a blast to ride. I’m glad that I got the 36” drifter, because the pockets are placed just past shoulder width for a tall (6’2”) person. The kicktail pockets are right outside the truck bolts; having my stance outside of the bolts required some adapting. This board requires really good weight distribution, otherwise the front or rear will pick-up in a slide. The pockets feel AMAZING.

Landyachtz Loco 33 Deck review

The Landyachtz Loco 33 is the smallest in the loco series. This board is similar to a 8.5" street skateboard but it contains 9 plies instead of the regular 7 plies of a street skate. This makes the loco stronger. This also makes the board more expensive. I love this board for techsliding because it is the perfect length and width. The shape of the tails also give it lots of good pop. The concave is a little more than your regular popsicle deck which helps to lock in your feet. Hard wheels make this board an amazing techslider while softer wheels make this board a sick cruiser and freerider. You can even put some smaller trucks and wheels on the board to skate the bowls, park, and the streets. I will guarantee you will have tons of fun with this board. If you have any questions post below and you will be answered within 24 hours!

Comet Shred 38 Deck Review

The comet shred city 38 is the biggest of the comet's shred series and is one awesome hybrid. This board is long enough that you can put both your feet on the trucks and can still pop a kickflip. It is more of a freeriding hybrid board rather than techsliding because of its size. Smaller freeride wheels are better on this board so you don't get wheelbite. Around 65mm wheels would be ideal.

Longboard Larry Double Kick Penguin Board Review

The double kick penguin from longboard larry is an amazing board. This handmade board is made to perfection and is pressed with maple, bamboo, and a layer or fiberglass, keeping it strong. It features huge kicks, perfect for any trick, and a nice concave with drops, keeping you locked in during slides. The standing platform is somewhat small, but is very easy to get used to because of the pockets. Also, this deck is very light compared to other boards that are the same length. It is definitely worth the expensive price. Since it also has a good sized wheelbase and very little flex if any, you could even set it up for some light downhill!

***DK Penguin info from LongboardLarry

The DK Penguin locks your feet in pockets like the Penguin but has a 2" shorter platform and some awesome kicks. Still has 5/8" drop into the bath tub concaved pockets that lock your feet in then back up 1/8" to a radial concave down the middle of the deck. If the pockets were not enough we added kicks to take your freeriding to the next level.
We press this deck with a layer of fiberglass, bamboo and maple.
