Landyachtz Switch 37 Review

Landyachtz Switch Review

The Landyachtz Switch has been around for quite some time now. It is still an amazing board for the quality of skating that has been going on today. Here is a review of this very versatile board!

Cruise/Carve: 8/10
Freeride/Slide: 9/10
Downhill: 8/10
Freestyle: *

Cruising and Carving: When most people see this tank, they think of it more as a downhill/freeride board. However, not all cruising boards need to be small and flexy. This board has giant drops which make the board very low to the ground. Pushing is very easy which makes cruising easier. It is not as turny as some boards but is very stable and easy to control.

Freeriding and Sliding: Since the board is low, it easily breaks out into a slide because your center of gravity is lower. The drops (gnar bars) really lock you in while doing huge standies. Set this up with some round lipped wheels and you will have a blast. This board can fit bigger wheels too because of it's wheel wells.

Downhill: This board is the regular Switch's little brother. It is a little smaller and less stable when going fast than the regular Switch. It is perfect for smaller people or people with smaller stances. This particular deck is good for runs where you haul ass or for runs with some sharper turns.

Freestyle on this board is not really recommended because first off there is barely a tail, and secondly, the board is somewhat heavy compared to other boards.

I would definitely recommend this board for a beginner or advanced rider because it can do almost anything you want.
